Guild Spotlight: Lullaby!

Darcy was kind enough to speak with us about his guild, Lullaby, that has been active since Closed Beta – almost 9 months! Can you give us a little history about Lullaby? Certainly. Lullaby was founded in October 2009 by Mr Darcy (moi, who enjoys speaking in third person) and his companion, Lady Yara. Darcy was determined to create a lasting community that allowed ‘goodbyes’ to be a thing of the past since parting from a particular MMO shouldn’t mean we should let go of those close to us. Instead, members of Lullaby have a place to belong whether they still play MMOs or not. It was to become a sanctuary for friendly faces to come together and enjoy themselves online in an amiable atmosphere. With her talent for coming up with wonderful names, Yara coined their new community to be ‘Lullaby’—cute and unique, it was just what they were looking for. Since then, Lullaby has developed into the dream that first inspired Darcy and still continues to flourish to this day. What are the goals of Lullaby guild? Our fundamental goal is to have as much good clean fun as possible. We’re here to show the virtual world that thereis a home for those that are into socialising and enjoying a game for what it is in an environment where even the little things such as having good etiquette and mannerisms are highly valued. What are the people of Lullaby like? The Lullabians are… pleasant, random at times, but utmost a joy to play alongside. Some never fail to make you laugh and gift you with a cheerful day; others can be great friends and make you smile even at the most difficult times. We’re here for one another just like a family should be. So on the whole, we have a lovely mix of personalities and hope to find even more amazing people as we explore a number of different MMOs together. How would one go about joining Lullaby? The heart of Lullaby lies in our website. So I would strongly encourage those that would like to join our community to register on our forum to get the most out of being a Lullaby member. You can even lurk around there to get a better feel of what we’re like and what goes on in the la la land of Lullaby before actually joining our guild in-game. We plan to continue enjoying ourselves just as we have done so far and develop our guild on our never-ending struggle for improvement.
