Guild Spotlight: League Pirates

Can you give us a little history about League Pirates? League Pirates is a Nezebian League guild and was founded by my brother, Saith/Vienna, in May 2010. When he came up with the guild, it was only meant for alts and was just-for-fun since our main characters were in another guild. But after a few days, we changed our mind and thought of making LP our main guild along with our mains. We started inviting other people that our alts met along their way, from the newbie land of Lightwood and Siveria, to the 1st PvP-zone which is Asee-teph, to the present Heroics and Astrals. It was quite random, really. We really didn’t have anything in mind for the guild at first. Lucky enough, we were able to meet very cool people who really liked the game and I guess without them I don’t think LP would have really lasted. After a while, we slowly changed the carefree-ish lifestyle and become a teeny bit serious with what we wanted for the guild. We were able to borrow a vent from one of our members and created our own guild website: League Pirates. We still tend to be carefree but we have to keep it to a minimum at times, since some people don’t like it. LOL. What are the goals of League Pirates? Are you a casual PvE guild? Hardcore PvP? Raiding? Okay, I actually asked my guild what our goals are as a guild and they said, “WORLD DOMINATION”. LMAO. On a serious note, we’re both PVP and PVE-oriented. We’re not fully an endgame guild so we do have low-levels in guild. Our main goal is adventuring astral. We encourage our pirates to build their own ships. Aside from the game’s content, we also have a goal in mind that we should always have fun when playing. As long as we have fun (no drama please), League Pirates is here to shake your booty. We have been raiding GT with progression. What are the people of League Pirates like? The pirates… are CRAZY! Well, they make you crazy. I’m pretty sure they make me go crazy at times. But it’s because of their craziness, that I enjoy their company. We can be random at times. We are friendly and respect other people but only if they respect us. Respect begets respect, after all. We’re also quite diverse. We have players coming from different parts of the world. It’s both a blessing and a curse – blessing because we get to meet different kinds of people and adapting to them but also a curse since the time zone difference can be a problem when we need to party for heroics/astral, etc. English, Tagalog, and Swedish/Dutch are mostly seen in the guild chat. You could also say that we’re a bit of a role-playing guild because we sometimes tend to talk pirate-y. Arrrrrr. I also need to say this or else Azamisai will hate me. We are sexy. /sexy How would one go about joining League Pirates? Are you accepting applications? What are your recruiting criteria? Yes, we definitely are accepting applications. We are inviting any active players who are level 25+ and shows camaraderie and independency. We are recruiting for all other classes tho especially Paladins, Psionicists and Wardens. What do you see in League Pirates’ future in Allods Online? “LET US DOMINATE ALL SARNAUT!” or that’s what Prairiewalrus wants us to do. I do hope to see more active players in guild and grow to become one big happy gaming family. I’ve written it before but I do hope we continuously have fun playing our dear Allods. One very tangible thing I’d like to see is that we are progressing in Gorluxor’s Tower. We already tried raiding it twice but only got Nogrom to 50%. We still lack the DPS power. I guess I’d like to say thanks to The Silent Warriors guild who collaborated with us on the efforts of our raid. We’re also looking forward for the “Astral Wars” between Guilds/Factions on the next major patch. Hopefully LP will have an Armada by then. Hahaha. That’s all really. Cheers!
